Actually, I think it is Turtles in the Round. Certainly fits with Open
Space.

As a peer of Einstien, a mathematician and philosopher -- A.N. Whithead,
developed his view of vibrations (and maybe lumpiness). In Process and
Reality, he suggests that every entity comes into being in a moment
self-organizing its existence in relation to its environment from the
past moment and from its "decisions". He did not see "reality" as
"continuous". It instead it is a process of becoming what it is, in
each moment, in relation to its "environment". This would give the
appearance to the observer as "vibration" -- each entity coming into
being in each moment with "space" in between -- whether it be strings or
quarks. It also suggests that each "entity & moment" (space time) is
self-organizing in relation to its context -- it emerges. Strings and
quarks emerge in the primordial soup that is also emerging. Just like
we emerge.

Turtles all the way up and all the way down.
