According to one guide book, Canadian Sailing Expeditions on Lower 
Water Street at Queen's Wharf (www.canadiansailingexpedition.com) 
does a 90 minute Tall Ship sailing around Halifax Harbour daily at 
9.45, 11.45, 13.45 and 15.45.  Sounds really cool.

Murphy's On the Water, 1715 Lower Water Street does several trips 
from 10.00 to 18.30 on various types of boats 
(www.murphysonthewater.com).

There also is a trip to scenic Peggy's Cove leaving at 10.30 from 
1751 Lower Water Street (www.peggyscove.com).

For those staying on, the International Buskers Festival starts on 
Halifax's Waterfront on 4 August through 14th.   Sounds a wee bit 
like the Edinburgh International Fringe's  gathering of buskers.
