A picky request

Paul--

Amen!

On my system, only rarely do the names of the posters appear in the from:
line at the top of the message. Usually I see only that it is from the
OSlist.

This actually is fun, trying to guess before I get the the end of a message
who it is from. I can sometimes pick up your voice, and often HO's and
Michael Herman's, and even Chris's (at least three of the Chris's), and
once in a while Artur's. And so when I get to the end of these people's
posts, because they usually do sign them, I am rewarded! Happy day!

At other times it takes a lot of sleuthing to go through the headers and
see just who might have sent the post to the OSlist. Sometimes that yields
no useful info.

Why do I search? Because if I am going to reply, I like to use your name
correctly, and if I am going to quote you, I'd like to quote the right
person.

So Amen to you Paul! And to you mysterious others who continue to stump
me--well, I guess I have to say (because, after all, whatever happens...)
Amen to you too, for the sport you give me!

                              :-Doug.
                              Who's making a difference?
