Bea--

I also believe that the facilitator, especially in the opening, can make a
difference in the feeling in the room during an OS event.   But I don't totally
understand what is at work here.   If I had to guess, I would say that it is
some combination of total trust in the participants and the facilitator's
personal vulnerability.
