ABSTRACTS & PAPER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Authors of Abstracts and/or Papers to be presented at the Seventh Global
Leadership Forum in Istanbul are kindly requested to follow these
instructions for preparation.  The deadline for Abstract Submission is March
1, 2005, but you may submit at any time.

Abstracts should be limited to 300 words (A4 paper size), and both papers
and abstract written in Microsoft Word for Windows format and preferably
submitted electronically as an e-mail attachment.  Deadline for sending the
completed paper as a Microsoft attachment is June 1st, 2005. Deadline for
submitting the electronics version on diskette is on arrival at the forum.
All margins (top, bottom, right and left) should be set to 1.78 cm top,
bottom, left, and right. And 1.25 cm header and footer. Please use Times New
Roman font, 12 points, left alignment and single-spaced.  We would like your
paper sent electronically and to give us a diskette or CD prior to or upon
your arrival to the forum.  If your paper is not submitted in the format
requested, we regret that it will not be considered for publication in the
proceedings.

The Paper should be formatted as follows:

*       Same general requirements as noted above
*       Do not right justify
*       Length: no less than 10 pages and no more than 35 pages
*       No paragraph indentation
*       Three space from top to title and three space from title (font size
16) to name (font size 14) and three space from name to beginning of text.
*       No space between paragraph headings (size 14) and text.
*       No embedded reference in the text. All references and notes must be
at the end of the text.
*       No tables that do not fit within the required margins.
*       Title in bold capital letters
*       one blank line
*       Author's(s) name(s) in regular script (not all capital letters; no
bold or italics); name format as in the following example: A.B. Smith
*       No degrees, titles or institutional appointments; (the presenting
author must be a registered participant);
*       one blank line;
*       Affiliation(s) and address(es) brief but including city, postal
code, and country;
*       two blank lines;
*       Text in regular script, left aligned, single spaced.
*       No embedded footnotes or other characters of any kind, please.
*       Large documents such as those with substantial graphics must be
zipped.
*       Please send a 100 word biographical note along with the abstract.

In the text of your e-mail message, please include the following
information:

*       Full name and address of corresponding author (including e-mail
address)
*       Preferred category of presentation:  Choose from leadership and
humane governance in the public sector; leadership and social corporate
responsibility in the private sector, and capacity building in general.
*       Suggested session day and times, if preference (especially for those
with travel constraints)

Send your e-mail and attachment to Dr. Adel Safty at
safty.sgl at bahcesehir.edu.tr  Accepted abstracts may be photocopied and
compiled in a booklet which may be distributed to the participants at the
conference.  Please do not submit more than two abstracts per registered
participant.
