Peggy -- you clearly have a job. Work yourself out of a job -- the next one. Make it a condition of contract that somebody will "shadow you" and take on the next gig.

Hi all,
Just wanted to close the loop on my Hawaii question. It seems a number of us have worked there but no one knows anyone who lives there. and uses Open Space Technology.
Lisa -- in the realm of small worlds, I know Les Ihara and saw him last week when he was in Seattle for a convention of state legislators.
Guess we'll continue to have an excuse to travel for a while!
from sunny (but not as warm as Hawaii) Seattle,
Peggy

Hi, Peggy -
You asked for OS practitioners who actually live in Hawai'i -
I recently opened space on Maui - though I live just over in California.
Hawai'i State Senator Les Ihara has used Open Space - I met him at the 2005 National Dialogue and Deliberation Conference.
Perhaps your colleague can contact his office to see who are the facilitators he has used.
Please let me know if I can be of any more assistance to your colleagues (for example, if they'd like contact information for Sen. Ihara I believe I have it)
Lisa
