TRANSFORMATIVE LARGE GROUP CONVERSATIONS is a unique INTERNATIONAL
experiential learning workshop that provides theory and practice for three
large group methods that are being used around the world to tap into the
wisdom of each individual and into the intelligence of the whole.  Using an
international nonprofit organization as the case study, participants will
learn through doing - Appreciative Inquiry, Open Space Technology and World
Cafe.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
Through experiential learning, gain a working knowledge of the Principles,
Phases and Practices of Appreciative Inquiry.
Practice Appreciate Interviews, small group learning and large group
synthesis as part of the Discovery Phase.
Engage in a World Cafe as part of the Dream Phase of Appreciative Inquiry.
Participate in an Open Space Technology meeting as part of the Design Phase
of Appreciative Inquiry.
Design a large group project to take home.
Practice writing appreciative questions in your own language.

The TRANSFORMATIVE LARGE GROUP CONVERSATIONS workshop will be held in Paris
from October 21 through October 24, 2004.  English and French will be the
primary learning languages for this event.  For more information, please

FACILITATOR TRAINERS

Christine Whitney Sanchez from Phoenix, Arizona, consults internationally
with organizations and communities interested in growing their most vibrant
future in the ground of their past and current success.  Her background as a
psychotherapist informs her teaching and facilitating with methodologies
that lead to whole-system strength based change.  She has facilitated and
taught Appreciative Inquiry, Open Space Technology and World Cafe with
Motorola, Girl Scouts, La Leche League, United States Postal Service,
churches, universities, Red Cross, hospitals, and city and state
governments.  In the past year, she has used a blend of Appreciative
Inquiry, Open Space Technology and World Cafe in Denmark, Netherlands,
Mexico and the US.

Christine Koehler coaches and consults within Mediator International. After
a Masters Degree in International Trade, she lived and worked several years
in China.  Back in France, she continued having contacts and trips in Asia
through her work as a textile buyer. Since 1994, as a LLL Leader, she has
been participating, inside multicultural teams, in the management and the
organizational development of the International Division of LLL Int. She has
used Appreciative Inquiry and Open Space in various settings.

Genevieve Treille, owner of Chrysalide International is a consultant,
trainer and coach specialized in communication, change management and
multicultural issues. A LLL Leader since 1990 in France and Saudi Arabia,
she has had various management positions within the International Division
of LLL Int. and created, and has been the director of, the Communication
Skills Development Department of LLL France.   She has used Appreciative
Inquiry, Open Space and World Cafe in Corporations, SME and non-profit
organizations.
