any need for poetry(-contest)?

No apologies, Jeff! I love it. And even through the lyricism there is literal
enough for me. Thank you for opening and holding the space for this poetry
collection. And thank you for dusting a small corner of my memories.

I've only breathed on paper a couple of collections of words that I dare to
call a poem, but I'll "publish" this one, if you would like to add it:

Music

Entering unexpectedly,
It calls to my soul
And lifts me up and further back
Beyond all else.
Restored, I return,
But the melody remains always.

Thank you, again, Jeff. And thank you Ashley and Michael, whose creativity
helped spark again this creative endeavor, as someone said in their blog
recently - can't remember whose - about creative expression connecting others to
their own creative expression - not limited to the "arts" but in every sense of
the word. (I wanted to respond but haven't had the chance - been reading more
than writing just yet.)

-Susan
