Zelle,

What a great story of group collaboration having concrete effects!  From
what I can tell by reading the story on your website, the main difference in
the process you went through and an urban design charrette is that in a
charrette, the designers come ON SITE, stay for 7-10 days, and do their
design work in an open studio where people can stop by, see the work in
progress, and ask questions or make suggestions along the way.
