You have spoken very well to the heart of my concerns and I hope my
congregation's.

Are you the Jim from Michigan I met at the Midwest OSonOS in Peoria 2 years
ago?

What really struck me about what you said was to keep on being ourselves
and trying to find our way and just let the candidate sit in on the
process. I really like that, and it feels like a true thing to do, rather
than make up something for "showing" who we are.

Jim, thank you for coming back to this question. It is still a living thing
for us--today our call committee decided to ask the congregation to call
another person and so our next visit should be just a few weeks away.
