Coming to OSonOS Goa? Good with details? Can you be our Registrar?

Hello, all -

I am helping out Janet Pinto and Malay Biswas, our two co-hosts for
OSonOS in Goa.   On their behalf I would like to ask you:

Is anyone based in the USA interested in being the Registrar for OSonOS
in Goa and joining Janet and Malay's team?

In case you are not familiar with the term, a Registrar is someone who
is in charge of incoming payments and registrations.  In this instance
it will need to be someone good with numbers and with details and with
ongoing communication.  You will need to track who has paid and who is
coming and keep Janet and the team informed on an ongoing basis (as
registration affects food, accommodation and materials decisions,
informs Access Queen who is paying for some Askers, and so on). You will
be the person processing the payments for us, answering questions about
payment and sending registered participants receipts and perhaps even
some final details on their attendance at the gathering.

This job would begin now (soon there will be an announcement of a
registration and information form and how to pay and reserve, and the
Registrar needs to be in place for this).  The job would also continue
up through and during OSonOSGoa, as some people will be coming to the
event with final payments in hand. So you have to know you will be
joining us in September to receive these payments and process them.

It must be a US-based person because OSonOSGoa will be able to accept
credit card payments, but to save Janet's team the cost of transfers and
wires, they will be accepting payments through the Open Space Institute
of the US's account - therefore a toll-free US telephone number must be
called ongoing by the Registrar to secure authorization for each credit
card transaction.

The Goa team can offer you free registration and their eternal gratitude
and amazement for your generosity and work in support of our
international gathering (to clarify: you would still be responsible for
paying your other expenses such as accommodation and travel expenses).

lisaheft at openingspace.net .  I shall be traveling Friday through Monday
but I shall return to read your messages if you email me during that
time (and if there is more than one person offering to be the Registrar
I am sure we have other tasks to ask for help with  - !)
