Subject: Storytellers Gathering Wednesday

Hi--

Would you help me?

Do you know anybody who uses storytelling in his or her work?

Would you kindly pass this invitation on to that person? It is for a
telephone conference call gathering this Wednesday evening (Chicago
time).

Thanks!

                              :-Doug. Germann

Invitation for a teacher/inviter of the Spirit:

Many of you chose two topics for our next gathering:
1) Storytelling, and 2) Spirit in a corporate setting. We
will do Storytelling first, and corporate in about 2
months.

Please share this invitation with other
teachers/inviters of Spirit you know.

You are someone who works hard to engage the
spirit of people. Please join a few others of us to
discuss ways to do our work better.

   Inviting Sacred Story

How do we foster story? What excuses do we need to
ask people for their stories? What do we do with
story? What does story do with us? When (and how) do
we tell our story? When (and how) do we ask for their
story? What do you do in a corporate setting?

For instance, you might want to ask each other about
when and how to use story, or you might want to
actually share one of your favorites and ask for help
      in improving its presentation.

What are the new stories we need to be telling? What
is the larger story that transcends and includes all
smaller stories? What is required so that our stories
      are true--and reach bedrock?

Let's see if we can share 10 or more tips in our 60
minutes together. Maybe we can trigger new ideas. We
should all pick up a couple good techniques.

We will meet for one hour by telephone conference
call, from 7:00 pm Central (8:00 Eastern, 6:00
Mountain, 5:00 Pacific) time on Wednesday evening,
September 3, 2003.

This is a gathering of and for people who are doing
this work. We will be sharing our best ideas with one
another. Because everyone invited is an expert, no
one will be lecturing. This is time for sharing--you
are invited to share what works in your teaching and
writing and leading. It is not to sit back and glean.
You are a teacher--teach (and learn)!

You determine the value after the gathering.*

If you are interested, please reply and I will get
you the telephone number to call. My e-mail is
mailto:76066.515 at CompuServe.com

There will be someone at our gathering with whom
you need to speak.

                        :-Doug. Germann
