typing their own notes...

Peggy I have tried both ways  - with and without secretaries.  My two
experiences of secretaries has been that they 'got in the way'.  Even
with clear, simple directions I find that secretaries are a breed of
their own and they tend to "do it their way".
My experience has been that this frustrated groups and particularly
convenors. (Particularly when inappropriate clip art appeared!!)
I have found that where a group gathers around a computer high energy
continues and  responsibility taken.
