Hi Doug:

In fact I do know a few people in our Parliament, both in the government
and in the opposition parties. I'm certain that if something like what
you suggested were to happen, then I could call them and invite them in
person.

I have been emailing these acquaintances over the last few days. Also,
this email is going around Canada at the moment (Bill Graham is our
Foreign Minister):

I really believe this pressure is important and makes a difference.
These are the small acts that help us to aggregate a large scale
movement away from seeing the world's problems as simple moral
situations with a right and a wrong. I think as Open Space
facilitators, we can play an important role in helping to Open Space for
dialogue and action.

We know where the "power" is eh? As Ozzie Davis said a couple of weeks
ago at a peace rally in New York: "When the people are in motion, the
government is in session."

Peace,

Chris
