Hallo everyone in the Open Space community.

We now have only five weeks to go before we all meet at the wonderful
place of Bramstrup. We now have about 60 participants from Netherlands,
Germany, Croatia, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Estonia, Haiti,
Taiwan, Israel, UK, Austria, Belgium and of course Denmark and Sweden.
This spectrum will create a very creative mixture for new ideas, new
relationships and new what ever you want in our open space.

It is still not too late. We have much space left so if you are thinking
of going, please do. The house on the farm is full but there are still
room in the tents outside and some are staying in their own tents and
caravans so we will have a small camp. And of course we have to have a
camp fire. The tents have room for 8 persons each, a change from the
registration form that says one large 24-person tent.

If you are staying in a hotel and thinking of the transportation between
Odense and Bramstrup, don´t forget that Denmark is the huge nation of
bicycles. There are always bicycles to hire and many roads only made for
those. If you want to see what options there are to rent a bicycle in
advance, please go to www.citycykler.dk

If you are staying some days after the OsonOs conference, some people in
Copenhagen are planning an extra Open Space meeting with a theme that will
make it possible for you to experience the wonderful city of Copenhagen.
Interesting, isn´t it?

The weather in Odense today is mostly cloudy, 21º C, 70º F. It will get
warmer and we are expecting some thunderstorms during next week. But it
really is a warm summer.

HC Andersen has written a poem about his birthplace, Here it is, telling
you everything about the wonderful place you will see in August.

Oh, Fyn is such a lovely land
On that everyone agrees.
The people's hearts are large and grand
The isle has beaches, fields and trees.

The very name means all is well,
That's worthy of remark.
The garden of Fyn casts a powerful spell
- The loveliest part of all Denmark!

        (Hans Christian Andersen, 1831)

I will try to send some small reports to you each week from now on until
we see each other.
Have a nice weekend

Eiwor Backelund
