artsilva at mail.eunet.pt writes:
But, if I was living in America, I would probably think that this is not a
good time to talk, as I would be accused of "preventing the combat to
terrorism", "threatening our soldiers" and to be a "socialist demonstrator
or a leftist Hollywood artist" (quoting from the friends and supporters of
this "great hero of modern times", Rumsfeld)
Artur (and HO):

There ARE many of us who do speak out, campaign for change, give money to
those who dare to stand up and be counted, and cheer gleefully whenever Move-On,
Al Franken, Michael Moore and other maverick individuals and organizations
point out the the conflicting messages, the inconsistencies, the international
arrogance, the invasion of privacy, the curtailing of rights, etc etc etc of
the current administration.

As I said in an earlier message, IMAGINE AMERICA.

We transformative mediators are continually optimistic and are wont to say,
"Shifts happen." And they happen because people DO talk and sometimes listen
and things change!
