intro & question-visioning during opening of OS?

I don't think that visioning - either the words or the person who leads
it are idiot-proof; some people can carry it off, but for others it's a
hi-risk starting point, ...

I believe that there is physiological evidence to show that our mind is
most open - lateral, giving permission to trust, communal - just after
we've woken up or when we have been restored to such a state. If you
know someone who's good at getting people to sing/chant a chorus, that's
as near idiot-proof a way of restoring to open-minds as I've yet found

At the same time, should it be the case that a particular space will be
ruined (or at least interfered with) if some VIP doesnt like what he
sees happening, I would get quickly into Open Space; curiously, I find
the spirits need recharging even more half way through a day of intense
open space than the beginning but maybe that's an old mind speaking...

Jennifer,

I know that some people on the list will say that there's no need to do
anything to get people ready for Open Space, but I think it's sometimes
called for.

The only comment I have about your proposed text is "I want you to close
your eyes". "I want you" is a little directive. And there are those,
like
me, who prefer to do their visioning with their eyes open. So how about:
"You can, if you wish, close your eyes ..."

Oh, and ther bit where you say "What are they doing? What are they
saying?" - maybe you might add "hearing" and "feeling" for people who
think
with their ears and bodies.

Wishing you loads of success and fulfilment,

Martin
