I opened up the new Sun magazine today and saw Kent Annan listed as a
contributor. It says he works in Haiti for Beyond Borders (John Engle's
group, no?), a grassroots deveopment organization promoting education
and literacy. Prior to moving to Haiti, he was an editor at Princeton
Theological Seminary, where he also earned his master of divinity
degree.

His piece is entitled When the Hills Flow With Wine and is about his
experiences as a person from the US, dealing with emotions and guilt
when confronted with poverty elsewhere. He quotes Amos from the bible,
"No one will know true happiness until everone knows happiness, until
everyone shares in the bounty."

This issue isn't on their website yet, but here's the site.
