I just discovered Reed's Law

Thank you, Chris,

for this nice explanation of the potential of the internet (or any other
event/setting where people have the possibility to "form groups").

The next step should be to examine the enhancement of group formation due
to specific setting details. What makes the difference between the law of
two feet and other intervening variables (in future search or the like)
with more stringent rules? What role plays the threshold of "technical
skill/equipment" (needed to join specific internet groups - like
newsgroups e.g.) on the formation of groups?

Then one could ask about the circumstances needed to best improve group
performance.

The last investigation should go on the sustainability of team results
i.e. if there is longlasting action or behavior change after the group
has finished their actual meeting.

(my thoughts are just bumble-beeing around this nice model ;-)

Kind regards,
Nino
