Reality and Just Me

Morning to you all!

Just wanted to add my thoughts to Chris and Tomy's conversation but first
a quick introduction as this is the first time I've posted here.

I only discovered OST a couple of weeks ago and have been enjoying various
sites and people that have come into my space as a result of that.

However, most of the stuff I've come across has been, understandably, in
relation to the group prcess but what really excites me is the
individual's process within the group process and the implications of that.

That's why I was particularly struck by Chris and TOomy's posts about
what's "real" and what's "just me".

It seems to me that what happens is always real AND just me. And my
experience may or may not correspond to those around me.

An interesting thing about Chris's example is that, on one level, the
reality for the man who took the mic was probably very similar to Chris's
reality - neither liked what was happening and both wanted something to
change. However, on the "just me" level the interpretation of the
experience was completely different as was their conclusions about what
action was needed to "rectify" the situation.

Eevn more fascinating/exciting, to me at least, is how the process
resolved itself in a way that included both their approaches.

So the lesson for me in all this is - Trust the Process, Trust the
Process, Trust the Process. Both "The" process and my own.

But then that's just me!
