I have a checklist for preparing for an Open Space plus notes on opening
and closing if she wants something like that (including materials,
signage, etc.).  But really, I know several people who have done just
fine after reading the book (which is more or less what is on the
website Harrison referred to) even if they have not themselves
experienced an Open Space.  Let me know if you need this other piece.

I feel that an Open Space is a perfect thing to do to hold space for
emotion and finding each other across grief and shock.  My warmest
wishes to your friend and to those in that community and my sympathy for
their loss.
