like to present something on OS and Community Building
at this conference in Chicago next May.....

NCBN Members and Friends,

Mark your calendars – the National Community Building
Network’s 10th Anniversary conference will be here in
just a few months! From Wednesday, April 30 to
Saturday, May 3, 2003 hundreds of community building
practitioners, advocates and supporters will gather in
Chicago to network and share strategies. We invite you
to share your experiences as a community builder by
offering a workshop at the conference.

Please take a moment to look over the Overview of
Tracks and Workshops on NCBN's website (
http://www.ncbn.org/goto/propose_a_workshop ), which
lists the six thematic conference tracks and describes
the workshop topics conference planners hope will be
explored in each track.

If you would like to present your community building
story, and believe that you have lessons, tools or
experiences to share on any of the subjects listed,
please complete the Request for Facilitators and
Presenters form. You can send your completed form to
the address listed below, fax it to 510-663-6222, or
complete it online through the NCBN website at
http://www.ncbn.org/goto/propose_a_workshop.

Volunteer committees of NCBN members will review all
forms to choose which workshops will be offered at the
conference. All forms must be received by Friday,
December 13, 2002 to be considered. All those who
submit proposals will be informed of the results of
the review by the end of January.
