I do think the idea of development has relevance to this and other
discussions, and I appreciate your summing it up succinctly and bringing it
to mind in this context.

I certainly hate the idea that I may be playing out a predictable stage of my
own development, but I have to admit the evidence is pretty persuasive some
days!
