A while ago, Harrison posted up the Cluetrain Manifesto, which was a set
of principles that redefined the ways businesses need to work within a
new web-ified world.

One of the guys behind that piece was David Weinberger who was recently
interviewed in Fast Company about his new book, "Small Pieces Loosely
Joined."

In the Fast Company article
(http://www.fastcompany.com/online/56/internet101.html) there is a side
bar with five points about why the Net really changes everything. They
apply to OST too I think. The five ways are:

1. On the Web fame is local.

2. The Web is all about groups

3. Knowledge on the Web is a social activity

4. The Web returns us to ourselves

5. The Web will have it's deepest effect as an idea.

Replace "the Web" with "OST", brew a pot of tea, and let the
conversation begin...
