Hello All,

In the midst of the chaordic discussion, it is interesing to watch
synchronicity do its work. Following an OST meeting on the role of
justice in our community (exploring areas of restorative justice,
healing circles, family conferences, etc.), a school board client will
be opening space this week for teachers exploring what they have passion
for around safe and peaceful schools initiatives.

We will then be opening space in another few weeks for students around
the same issue. In their third meeting members from education,
business, and surrounding communities are invited to participate
together.

And in the middle of these three meetings I am very privileged to head
to Alaska in mid-April and "play" with Julie, Chris and Michael as we
co-facilitate a state-wide conference on peacemaking.

During the open space for the role of justice — a group was convened
with the title "I am Peace". The student who convened the group stood
on a table during a coffee break and declared:

"I am Peace — I was born from freedom, and since my birth I have been
forever challenged and fought for. Some people search for me and never
find me, while some take me for granted until I leave their side. I am
not full grown and maybe I never will be. I travel the world, yet my
presence is lost in some. I am part of your life like the air you
breathe, so PLEASE don't take me for granted." Scott.

Humbly showing up and opening space here in Atlantic Canada!! It is a
privilege to share this journey with you all.

Kindest regards,
Judi
