Hello, dear colleagues -

I am talking with a potential client (the one I'd asked a few questions to
you about recently) who wishes to bring together educators, education
administrators, and business representatives to discuss applying a certain
model of education reform to their communities.

Their event is tentatively scheduled for November 13 and 14th of this year.
It may be 1.5 days in Open Space.

Our next global gathering of Open Space practitioners -- to which you are
all invited -- will be in Melbourne, Australia November 9 through 12. (more
exciting details on that to follow!).

So: a bit of a conflict for some of us, given travel time and all.

The client is interested in knowing at this time of any OST facilitators who
fit the following criteria, who may be available for these dates.

- The location is Honolulu, Hawaii

- They want someone with very large group experience - they will try to
bring 1500 people together, ideally (though it may be less in actuality)

- They want someone with a background working with / in education /
educators

- - - - -

If you fit the large group and education criteria (I *know* you all want to
go to Hawaii!) and if you feel you may be available for these dates, please
email directly to me (lisaheft at pacbell.net) a message indicating your
interest / availability and please include a paragraph about your background
/ experiences. I'll forward that on to them. They've asked me to play this
get-the-word-out-see-who's-available role -- I am also in the mix as a
potential facilitator for the event, but I want to try to get to the
Melbourne gathering, as well. So I may not be available to them, assuming
these dates are solid. Besides, they just bumped into me as an OST
facilitator - let's see who might be the best fit all around, eh?

I look forward to hearing from you,

Lisa
