Opening space in 10 hours from now

Hey Ted. Have fun.

I'm doing one tomorrow too, for 100 or so First Nations youth and peace
will be a big part of the agenda. In Vancouver we have just had some
terrible swarming incidents, where a large group of Aboriginal girls has
been beating up innocent white folks, so the tensions are a little high
in the community right now. Everyone knows who they are and what the
issues are and the call is for PEACE all round.

Today is National Aboriginal Day in Canada, coinciding with the summer
solstice up north here. Tomorrow's OST was organized by a bunch of
youth who have done all this before. They choose an elegant theme for
the day: "Sweet Space." That's it. Nothing fancy. But they want youth
to talk about what it means to make sweet space, create it and hold it
and make living in the city as sweet an experience as possible.

I love that peace underlies all this, but the point of tomorrow is
spreading the sweetness, making things sweet. The word itself is au
courant right now meaning "cool, okay, fine, according to plan, effort
without sweat, living with ease" and so on.

So have a good time practicing peace down there in Chitown and I'll
think of you while we're doing the same up here.

Peace,

Chris

And I wish you good, peaceful, focused energy in this your first solo space
opening. It will be, wonderfully, the only thing that could have happened.
