Large Open Space of the universe of potential

Dear Birgitt,
in your post telling stories of people using ost in classroom
situations you refer to the "large Open Space of the universe of
potential" several times. Could you please say a couple of sentences
about it ... I missed the meening of this perhaps in earlier
exchanges.
