I agree with Birgitt to keep it simple.  Making a complicated scheme to see
that everyone gets to be everywhere is just confusing and diffuses the
passion.  Your client is right--what gets done is what people truly have
passion for; it's the only thing that gets done anyway.

My music teacher used to say that last-minute jitters were caused by energy
building for your performance, energy which has no place to go until you
begin.  Her remedy was to pace while warming up.  Just lie down tonight,
awake or asleep, get up in the morning and go for it!
