First OS in Sofala Province, Mozambique

Hi John. I guess that what I wrote did not come across as I intended.

I agree with your perspective firmly: concerned about the precedent that I
establish, that they think they need me to help them through the rough
spots. It's their process, not mine.

I have never had to "intervene" in the fifty or so OST events I have
facilitated. I guess this term can be translated as "fix it" tho I don't
ever think my work in that way.

But when I consider what I might do if I become clear that the silence will
not be broken because of a dead moose in the center of the room -- I don't
know how long that might be, ten or fifteen minutes?? -- I want to suggest
a process that is aligned with my sense of open space. Thus, to go around
the circle with an invitation to say what is so.

I would hope that the circle would feel something like the reflection time
that Bernhard facilitated, in which the unspoken issues come forward to be
talked about.

Again, I appreciate the stories from the dead moose society to encourage us
to be thorough in our work with a sponsor prior to the open space.

Jeff
