Giving and receiving

Often when someone or a company is not able to go to a place that needs to
be investigated within, they will show it by being unwilling to spend the
money to uncover that which is hidden.  At the same time, that money might
be spent on more office furniture or perks for the employees as a bandaid to
the real issue; a person may take a trip or buy new clothes to assuage the
feelings that come up.
