A thought on the Story

Just like organizational blocks and contradictions, I imagine that sometimes the "story" can be so intertwined with the person's life that they cannot tell the story objectively or probably don't even see the story because it is so much a part of them. Like the eye trying to see the eye without a reflection. That could account for some of the seemingly slow response and awkwardness. Also, some of us take a lot of time to process events so the benefits of the story telling you facilitated may not reveal themselves for days or months later. Self reflection is not an easy task no matter what anyone says.
