My last summary of Eckhart’s path wasn’t quite accurate.  Here is
Matthew Fox’ outline of the “spiral of expanding consciousness” of the
“fourfold path in Meister Eckhart’s journey.”
 
1.      Creation
2.      Letting Go and Letting Be
3.      Breakthrough and Giving Birth to Self and God
4.      The New Creation: Compassion and Social Justice
 
Another aspect of Eckhart’s thinking that parallels many of the
conversations here is his rejection of dualistic thinking.
