Discussions of Truth

Everyone is making very intelligent and learned comments, I have found it
quite educational and gratifying to know others are so concerned with
"Truth".

Judi, how true that we come to own our view of the state of things and
embody them into our beliefs and behaviors.

So many questions:

Is perception reality?
Is reality truth?
How do we prevent our culture tacit assumptions from blocking the universal
truth?
Is truth practical? How far can we refine it with others? Can refinement
go beyond our understanding as with the sound that only dogs can hear? If
so, than how can mear human beings hear the truth?

Tis a life's work and can keep one busy and out of trouble, I would thing,
the search for what truth is.

One truth is I have to stop printing all of these sage remarks as I can't
afford it!

being ... anchors itself into flesh and then creates the experience that we
call living. I wonder sometimes if we all just told the truth as it moves
up from the body and presses up against us to be revealed ... if we only
said "yes" when "yes" is what we meant ... and "no" when we are unwilling or
unable; if we asked for what we wanted -- and didn't wait until we were
desperate -- and were honest about what we are willing to give -- would the
flow of energy ever be impeded?

> Hmmmm...... I see what you mean, Judi and Harrison. There is that aspect
of conflict that puts us in touch with ourselves. The internal struggle
that accompanies external conflict can force us to explore our deeper truths
and meanings in life. That exploration can result in important learning and
growth.

other. It is the healing of this aspect, I think, that I was trying to get
at in my earlier post. This is the healing that allows us to have a shared
truth with another rather than a solo truth that excludes the other. That
shared truth sometimes opens us to the possibility of recognizing our
connection, our oneness.

connected to the Truth -- their own. Not necessarily a bad thing if space
can be provided so that some perspective may be achieved. And the good news
about conflict is that somebody cares. No Conflict? Nobody cares! but you do
need some space to move about in. which is why, I guess, we do what we do.
