I think I am still a member of the group (on Yahoo) - should I unsub from
it? or is there still some purpose to being part of that list too.

I would like to unsubscribe to the list and have treid every possible way but
can't figure out how to unsubscribe. Can someone help?

Thanks,

sharon, jane, et. al....

i think murli, who runs the oslist in idaho, is still on sabbatical. as
far as i know, the egroups list is no longer in use. to unsubscribe,
simply send a message to this address: oslist-unsubscribe at egroups.com.
nothing else, no fancy commands or keywords in subject or body of
message will make any difference. just any message to that unsubscribe
address. then you're done with that one.

as far as getting off of this list, jane... you can go to this page:
http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html...

click: Join or leave the list (or change settings)

click: login with your LISTSERV password

when i do this, it brings up a new page with my address and name already
filled in. i make whatever changes i want, and then click the submit
button at the bottom of that page.

if your name and username don't come up, fill in your name and email
address in the form and click the 'leave the list' button. it'll send
you an email to confirm. (which might take a couple days i found out
recently, but it will come.) then just reply to that email to confirm
your exit.

good luck, m
