hello everyone,

have made some references here and there in messages lately to the work
i've been doing at http://www.michaelherman.com. that work is now
complete, so i just wanted to recap and formally invite you all to come
have a look around and use whatever you find useful. here's what's now
available...

evolution at work: a personal journey and public invitation to open
space
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is what i've called 'the book' thing, from favorite excerpts from
campbell, fuller, eliot to my own translation of ken wilber's stuff, to
open space client handout articles. it's all very surfabale and
downloadable as pdf file(s). also, the five sections of this collection
form the basis for the new chicago training model announced below.

invitation resources: toward inviting organization
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is more of a workbook/scrapbook of some of my own invitations and
stories, a collection of sample invitations (about 20, i think),
preparations checklists, and proceedings templates.

the 6th annual chicago open space training (workshop series and practice
group)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this place-based (designed to work in chicago or inside of any other
organization), six-week, workshop series and ongoing practice group is
one of the ways that i will be using the two collections. participants
will learn about opening space, learning in open space, and learn by
doing the opening of space... or alternatively... learn about inviting
organization, learn in inviting organization and learn to do inviting in
organization. perhaps it is a model that you could add your own stories
to, and run it as a book discussion group and community practice group
in your local circle of friends and colleagues. if so, it's all
available online if you want it.

best for now, and many thanks to all of you who have contributed so much
to the formation of the ideas and tools in the works listed here...
michael
