Thanks for sharing this model Chris. I agree  that it has many applications.

I held a one day open space for nurses with the theme "Inspiring leadership:
What are the issues and opportunities for all Nurses." One of the
consequences was a number of nurses identifying mentors in the group and a
mentor program is now under development as an outcome of the meeting (based
on the discussion and priorities). I have forwarded your message to the
"champion" of the steering group.

I agree Laurel that this would work well for nursing orientation,
particularly as we face the future of more than 50% of our nurses being
eligible to retire by 2005. We will have fewer elders in our workforce to
support the growth of the new....and this could stop the process of eating
our young!!
