Hi all

There is something that warms me when I read the daily discussions I automatically receive from 'the list'. I feel instantly connected to the OS community.

I am assuming that the e-groups facility does not have the capacity for list members to receive the daily 'discussion' as email.

In response to the oslist messages, I find myself thinking about and involved in issues and discussions I did not intend to become involved in. There is something delicious, broadening and opening in this. If I have to consciously decide to visit a web discussion page, might I choose not to? If I do visit and join the discussion, might I be doing so with a specific purpose in mind, rather than responding to the synergistic serendipity that occurs on the list in its current form? Might some sense of connection be lost for some list members? I feel it might be for me!

Cheers.
Bryan.
