Over the years the national and international press has been quite kind to
Open Space. Indeed, I am often surprised when people say they have never
heard of Open Space. There have been feature stories in the New York Times,
Washington Post. Los Angeles Times, Forbes and a whole mess more. The one
thing that has never quite happened is some consideration of Open Space in
an academic journal. There is apparently one exception (Organization
Dynamics) but I have never managed to find a copy. Strange. Here is an
approach to group inter-action (large and small) which has a track record
of 15 years and 1000's of applications world wide -- and somehow it escaped
the academics attention -- even though it contravened most, if not all, of
what current theory and practice would predict. Ah -- that may be the
reason ???? Nasty thought.

Anyhow -- a friend who will remain nameless (don't want to blow his cover)
ran a literature search. It is three pages long, and covers only the US. I
don't have all the articles, but some. Maybe others have the ones I missed?

So if you would like a copy of this, I can send it to you as an attachment.
It is not a small file, and you should be able to open it on Acrobat or

If you do this in the next 5 days -- I will get it out. After that I am in
Maine for the summer, and although the email reaches to such forgotten
territories, I am afraid I don't have all the pertinent files on my laptop
(which is what goes with me.)
